WEBINAR: Associations Under Fire: Everything You Need to Know to Mitigate Risk from the Current Legislative, Regulatory, and Legal Threats

Tuesday, June 3, 2025
1:00 PM - 2:00 PM (CDT)

Event Details

In this time of rapid change in Washington, DC and in the courts – affecting associations across the country in ways we haven’t seen in decades – it is critical for associations to keep up with what is happening at both the federal and state levels. From federal tax reform to DEI to private litigation to federal agency enforcement actions to new state legislation and executive orders – and everything in between – gain invaluable insights into how these threats and potential future changes may affect your association, as well as practical strategies for navigating the evolving landscape and mitigating risk.

Join us for an engaging discussion led by one of the nation’s leading association attorneys, Jeff Tenenbaum, who will break down the most pressing threats, potential implications for your member associations, what to expect in the months ahead, and, most importantly, what practical steps associations should take now to mitigate their risk.

About the Presenter:

Jeffery S. Tenenbaum, Esq, is widely regarded as one of the nation's leading nonprofit attorneys, and is also an accomplished author, lecturer, commentator, and expert witness on nonprofit legal matters. As Managing Partner of the nationally recognized, Washington, DC-based Tenenbaum Law Group – a six-attorney boutique law firm focused exclusively on the legal needs of nonprofits – Jeff counsels his clients on the broad array of legal and sensitive business and governance issues affecting nonprofits. Among numerous other honors and awards, Jeff was the recipient of Association TRENDS & CEO Update’s 2025 Association Industry Partner of the Year Award, was the 2006 recipient of the American Bar Association's Outstanding Nonprofit Lawyer of the Year Award, and is one of only five lawyers in the U.S. Legal 500’s Not-for-Profit Hall of Fame.
