1 - 2 p.m.: Equity Centered Leadership, Shannon Foster-Boline
Everyone has heard the terms "Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion", but what does it really mean to lead with equity as a core principle? Where do you start as a leader? How do you go beyond the simplistic refrains to a deeper understanding of the issues impacting your members and our society at large? During this interactive session, Shannon will guide you to explore your own experiences and perceptions of diversity, equity, and inclusion. This self-reflective approach is an important first step in developing an understanding of how you can create a culture of equity-centered leadership for your organization.
