Tell us a little about your current role and the association or organization you serve.
I am the Director of Executive Services and Governance. A few of the things I do in this role include overseeing communication with our Board of Trustees and our Delegation to the American Medical Association. I work with our Medical Student Section, Resident/Fellow Section, Young Physician Section, and Senior Physician Section to support their governance, and I oversee our House of Delegates program and Annual Meeting.

What has been one of the most meaningful or rewarding moments in your association career?
Having the opportunity to attend the American Association of Medical Society Executives (AAMSE) Leadership Academy in 2024 was incredibly meaningful. I learned so much in the two-day program, and I continue to use the skills I gained there in my day-to-day activities.

How did you first get involved with TNSAE?
Our CEO took me to my first Convention & Trade Show in 2016, along with our Event Planner. At the time, I was serving as Executive Assistant to the CEO.

Tell us about your family, pets, and where you call home.
I am originally from Rochester, NY and moved to Tennessee almost 21 years ago. I currently live in Antioch, TN with my longtime significant other, Johnny.

What books are you currently reading, and/or what podcast are you listening to?
I am currently listening to Cabinet of Curiosities by Aaron Mahnke. Each twice-weekly episode includes two short stories featuring interesting moments from history. I am also a fan of Aaron Mahnke’s other podcasts, including Lore, Noble Blood, American Shadows, and Grim & Mild.

What is something people may not know about you?
I am an avid hiker. In 2021, I hiked all 56 Tennessee state parks, and in 2024, I hiked the same 56 parks again along with three additional parks that were added during those three years.

Are you involved with any other nonprofits or volunteer efforts that are meaningful to you?
I am serving my second year on the FBI Nashville Citizens Academy Alumni Association Board. We work with the Nashville FBI Field Office on community outreach programs to promote public safety through community service projects, education, and service initiatives.
