TNSAE Micro-Impact Opportunities: Small Commitments. Big Impact.

TNSAE Updates,

TNSAE Micro-Impact Opportunities
Small Commitments. Big Impact.

This year, we’re piloting a new, flexible way to get involved — and we want you to help shape it. This member-driven, micro-volunteer program lets you decide how you want to contribute, how much time you want to give, and what energizes you. You can make a meaningful impact without committing to a committee or task force. Even small actions and involvement create lasting results for TNSAE and our association community.

Examples of Micro-Impact Opportunities
Here’s just a starting point — you can also propose your own ideas!

Content & Feedback

  • Review a short resource, template, or program content for clarity and accuracy
  • Provide feedback on an upcoming program session or survey
  • Contribute a small piece of content: article, case study, or best practice
  • Share success stories for the TNSAE newsletter/blog

Programs & Events

  • Brainstorm ideas for a program, session, or initiative
  • Volunteer at a single in-person or virtual event (check-in, greeting, hosting)
  • Assist with a short-term behind-the-scenes project (planning, prep, outreach)
  • Help with the May 14th TopGolf outing (in advance or onsite assistance)
  • Host a small member roundtable over coffee (focus areas: membership, conferences/convention, etc.)
  • Assist with social media posts during one event/program this year

Connections & Mentorship

  • Make 1–2 introductions to potential new association/AMC members
  • Connect with a new TNSAE member for coffee or lunch
  • Mentor a peer with a one-off question
  • Serve as a CAE mentor for a member studying for the exam
  • Share a brief testimonial for TNSAE membership, association as a career path, a TNSAE program or the CAE Credential

Skills & Expertise

  • Share your professional expertise on a quick task (design, marketing, research, communications, photography)
  • Serve as a panelist for a session or virtual discussion
  • Conduct a mini-workshop/micro-session in your area of expertise

Opportunities may be one-time, short-term, or offered at various points throughout 2026.  While micro-volunteering is a new way to engage with TNSAE, traditional volunteer opportunities still exist through our convention/trade show and membership committees.
